17:16 Look, I am no game developer & I have no experience with balancing competitive games, but I think defenders having weapons that are strong with utility that is also strong would be really fun to play & would shift the game towards that utility-focused meta that a lot of people loved. It would force attackers to use their utility to get rid of the defenders’ utility, then the round would boil down to gunfights! If an attacking team decides to ignore the defenders’ utility they’ll be punished for it! I think a balancing philosophy like this would help to keep both sides of the R6 player base well fed!

The issue with everything from legends division to Mira, is the 2.0 generation is worse than the 1.0 gen. It’s why the game feels bad. Their aim isn’t even that good, siege is at its lowest mechanical ceiling ever. No lean spam, flat movement, no drop shot, no crouch spam, etc. a generation raised in a bubble never needed to learn.
Who cares about the stakes? You're also wasting everyone else's time in the tournament from that point onward. Ban him from tournament play if he acts like that.
