The moment satire tries to play it safe or be socially acceptable, it stops being effective satire. GTA historically succeeded because it didn't cater to sensitivities or try to deliver sanitized moral lessons. Trying to make a modern GTA "palatable" strips away the sharp, cynical edge that defined its identity for over two decades.
