Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign and multiplayer review by Simon Cardy.
An all-action campaign full of twists and turns, MW4’s single-player shines, but the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare 4 is quite a bit duller. Solid foundations and a novel new arena ensure there’s plenty of fun to be had, but the majority of its new modes and maps do little to excite due to some unimaginative design choices and awkward spawn positions. The combination of these two halves is a much-needed reminder of what Call of Duty can be at its best, even if it can’t fully recapture the heights of its glory days.

im 2:20 min and i really find it to be to negative nice that they have 20M subs on youtube but i have seen and red alot of different things and to that i own and played the game and i dont think this is true but yeah what do i know :thinking:

This COD is the best I’ve ever played. I agree with some of the points regarding MP. But it’s still fun as heck
campaign is good, dmz is fun. but mp is exhausting chore to play with the manipulating matchmaking EOMM and SBMM, combined with the strong 0ms rotational aim assist and aim assist.
I found it hard to get immersed in the video b/c an ad popped up every 2 minutes. I wish I were exaggerating, but this has gotten out of hand. *Im not switching my internet to Xfinity, IGN. Quit trying to peer pressure me into doing so.
Need the 3rd person moshpit in multiplayer.

Only a small bot loving CoD players actually care for campaign. CoD is my biggest reason to own a console(GTA too) and its the MP. Campaign games are for nerds. MP for CoD has sucked so much and MW4 is right there with the last 3 other CoD
I skipped the last few COD games and can honestly say this one is an 8 imo. IGN never fails to surprise me but as they’ve told us many times a 7 is considered good even though it doesn’t feel that way. They should just scrap the numbers and settle for Bad/Okay/Good/Great/Masterpiece ratings.
The reviewer was clearly playing on easy mode, just standing in the open shooting, not bothering to take cover. You’re missing half the gameplay yet you claim to know the game enough to review it? Pathetic.
