The class is nerfed 44% baseline, literally every spell–whereas mage and priest for example are only nerfed by 11% median, so is completely dependent on the fact they scale from gear. But, Blizzard put basically no good quest gear in the game with the spell damage changes and you get punished for doing dungeons for gear (no xp).
People thought warlock was good for the first 8 weeks of beta cause the pets were literally bugged and 3x as strong as they were supposed to be, too.
People are going to be in for an extremely rude surprise trying to fotm as lock.
