Avengers Doomsday has a whole new tv spot/trailer and while many were let down, I absolutely loved it. Sure, it wasn’t the full fledged thing we hoped for, but there are some great things in this trailer that have me really excited. Steve Rogers, Thor, Ant-Man, Sam Wilson, Doctor Doom, Reed Richards and more are finally all in a movie together and I’m stoked.

This whole Captain America, Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers thing Is just STUPID, RIDICULOUS, CRINGEWORTHY..!! Steve IS CAP…!! Sam is a regular dude with NO abilities NO serum to make him interesting….just a lovely guy playing super hero…!! Without the serum, let's face it, the character has a HUGE problem, he is flying around and pulling g's which would hospitalize even the fittest strongest man in the world…and they have the balls to give him a movie where he has to fight the RED HULK..!!! That was INSULTING….I still cannot bring myself to watch it. So, every time I see Sam in any Marvel production I cringe with embarrassment, the Sam characters inclusion feels like an act of charity by whoever's in charge of who should be CAPTAIN AMERICA, SUPER HERO..!! Here to fill the shoes of the LEGENDARY original. And now somehow… Sam is THE LEADER of a team of what are suppose to be the most POWERFUL beings on earth to FIGHT against opponents who could KILL Sam in a fraction of a second….!!!! Red HULK should have been an example of this had Marvel been realistic regarding their confrontation…!! Same goes for the Yelena Biloba…or whatever her name is….ANYONE without crazy next level powers just becomes a liability the moment the enemy engages you, especially when your apparent role on the team Is THE LEADER, the one that will fight the bad guys…bad guys that have other worldly powers…!!!! Sam should've got the serum at the very start…..and…until he does…I'm afraid he will continue to be an embarrassment and completely unbelievable as the leader of a TEAM of the MOST POWERFUL SUPER HEROES In the WORLD, "THE AVENGERS"

Thor and Steve Rogers’ banter in this TV spot reminds me of Infinity War. When Thor arrives in Wakanda and speaks to Steve, he says something about copying his look and points to his beard. These 2 characters have had a nice friendly back and forth “rivalry”.

The Earth 828 text is the strongest evidence in this whole spot — marketing teams don't usually burn a universe label into footage, which tells me this baseball game is a real scene from the film, not a promo insert. And it backs up your two-armors point: the aggressive forge armor vs the softer landing suit is too deliberate to be a CGI inconsistency. My question: if Doom's walking around 828 in the softer suit, is he playing diplomat first — showing up as the hero of that world before anyone realizes what he actually is?
Marketing should make us want to see the movie. It’s not doing that. It’s making me want to understand why this move fits into what I’ve already seen.

As for the whole argument of whether Loki (anyone for that matter) potentially being/portraying this particular Steve Rogers character, during that scene, … To me, it simply comes down to the obvious, very intentional fact that they show "Steve" smiling/smirking the exact same way the character of Loki has done to Thor and others in past scenes. Regardless or not that's actually the case and whether or not that's ever admitted by the writers, the Russo Bros., and Kevin in the end, makes no difference to the fact that the majority of us (rightfully so) were actually picking up on something intentional, purposeful all along!

It would bother Thor is LOKI is the one sommoning Mjolnir, while… pretenting to be Steve and… while Thor is aware that Loki is protraying Steve in a likely scene to trick a person/badguy. Definitely would.
I’m not convinced either, but I’d love it if we think the whole time it’s Steve holding the Hammer and asking Thor if it bothers him, and then the moment he calls down all the army of Valhalla, he’s expectantly looking for Loki, perplexed he doesn’t see him in the retinue, and then “Steve” taps him on the shoulder as he transforms back into Loki with the horns, now Worthy as the God of Time, holding the Hammer while Thor stands absolutely bewildered, and then the brothers get to fight alongside each other once again! Don’t know what they’d do with the real Steve to make that happen (unless Doom pre-collected him back when he picked up lil Franklin, which I guess makes sense, and we don’t see real Steve again until he has his Han Solo moment in Secret Wars in Doom’s Throne Room: “I like my favorite Captain right where he is!” 😅😭🙈) I will say that we definitively saw Cap with short hair still in the trailer of him in 818 and I seriously doubt he grew all that hair so fast, which does cast suspicion, and is perhaps the biggest evidence for the theory lol Sly grins don’t prove anything but with the right frame they do appear characteristically like the Trickster God…
I like that we're not getting as much new stuff, drip feeding is good. I'd rather know as little as possible about the movie, especially since we already know so much from the leaks.
