  1. 3:41 I was one of those people. I was aware of the memes and the dislikes around but I picked it up on sale, played and hat a good time with. I really appreciated what they did with the combat. It felt more fluid iirc. Well, hopefully we'll get a a reboot of the franchise one day or a big trilogy remake with Andromeda as Bonus thingie. I'd play that again 😊

  2. This happens always. Atari was super big until it failed, Commodore was a huge brand and is gone. Eventually this gets replaced by something else and we still have the good games they made to enjoy.

  3. What's so surprising about that?? Anyone with a shred of common sense saw this coming a long time ago. If you fire talented, experienced people and hire talentless, inexperienced ones, they'll run the whole company into the ground.

  4. I get you Jake.
I feel the same way, sad but happy with what we were blessed with.
Mass Effect trilogy will stay my favourite until i die. Man….what a time in our lives that was. Peak gaming

  5. This year I did complete run Mass Effect trilogy for platinums and man hits still amazing like when was realise. Finish most Bioware games and like it even that weakens one. And Mass Effect 5 hurt they killed it.

  6. I'm actually happy they finally pulled the plug on BioWare. They haven't released anything remotely interesting since Mass Effect 3.
So here's from me – Finally!

  7. Jake, you know as well as I do, that they didn't do well because EA acted as manacles on their ankles. Take the most recent Dragon Age. It was a Live Service Game. Then it wasn't. Then there was backlash over LGBT representation from the publisher etc. – which was a really stupid reason to review bomb a game.

They were forced to make Anthem, which nobody wanted. Again because EA forced them to.

The publisher owns a lot of the reason Bioware failed and pretending that that isn't the reason, I feel, is disrespectful to the memory of the good people at Bioware who did their best, under very difficult circumstances, for a very long time.

The problem is EA. It's always EA.

  8. Disheartening to see so many dismiss BioWare with 'they were dead anyway'. Cynicism might be accurate, but this apathy only validates corporate decisions to prioritize safe profit over heart and hope.

  9. We know why but still?
No but still. They did this to themselves. Sorry, not sorry. Get woke go broke. It's that simple. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

  10. What upsets ne even more is that i genuinely think ME5 was going to be incredible. It was being made by a team of veterans and the incredible writer of deus ex was writing it, also Mike Gamble made it clear they game was going to be something close to the trilogy rather than andromeda
    RIP BIOWARE
