  1. Idea to punish MBT for whining but winning anyways: Everytime he complains at the start of the game, and wins anyway, he is muted for the next game of the next episode. This effect can stack.

  2. There’s a long history of exchange between China and Japan so I understand why you might think that the PUNK cards are Chinese (the Chinese dragons, for example), but the PUNKs are very, very Japanese. The cards focus on 4 different types of Japanese art: Ukiyoe (woodblock printing), Gagaku (traditional imperial court music), Noh (a type of theater that uses masks), and Ningyou Joruri (a type of puppet theater). All the PUNK cards have a lot of references to these art forms. For example, Ze Amin is a reference to the Noh actor and writer Zeami Motokiyo. Of course, he’s been reimagined as an anime girl, but that’s to be expected.

  3. Wow Springans is SOOO forgiving. Its isnane how MBT and Dany found Golgonda every single game, if they dont the deck is so much worse.
    Truly the luckiest duelist ever

  4. Kevin, you're out of your mind if you think that Joseph is THE ONE who does that as if Farfa isn't also in the call.

Not being in the giant call would fix this, btw

  5. Honestly this series is feeling kinda rough. In general, this one has the same issues as team Saga where there was so much focus on maximizing gameplay that we're kinda missing out on the fun banter of friends just hanging out. But that one was just the Quartet, so it was the opposite team doing some ragebaiting or malding or asking stupid icebreakers while the turn players did their stuff and that was still fun. I feel like 50% of this series so far is essentially just complaining about the talking stick because there's four other people talking to each other while the turn players are hyper focused on discussing lines.

Also, this series and this episode in particular are good examples for the debate of bans every so many episodes versus every so may wins. Bans every 4th episode would have everybody already gone through twice and we would be seeing new things regardless of what happens. Hiding stuff only happened just before the ban episode. Instead, we have teams sitting on 3-4 episodes of pulls that they aren't using because it will be instabanned if they do. At the very least, we definitely need more frequent bans to keep the series interesting and the players from desperately fighting to just get one or two more wins with a deck that they're tired of. Bans on wins makes more sense to keep it fair, but I feel like everyone was more incentivized to just play what they have and actually have fun when the bans were coming no matter what on a predetermined schedule.

I feel like going back to bans on 4th episodes, with the number of bans against you being based on your placement, would probably be the best way to keep Saga interesting for both you guys and us. Also, we obviously love Farfa and MBT, but we'd be more than happy to see any of the other guys in a normal Saga. Boy, I miss regular Saga…

  6. Before the season started I was fearful of Joseph & Danny being in the same series, let alone on the same team. I was wrong. They’re having fun, I’m having fun watching them. This is great!

  7. I love when I roll my selection packs I get 1 ur and 2 sr every time, meanwhile these guys open like 20 sr sometimes. also I just noticed they pulled pre-prep and didn't add it.

  8. Joseph/Danny would've lost the game to one piece of interaction and Peeps/Doug did lose to one piece of interaction, idk what Farfa is on about that is a bad hand for both of them.

  9. farfa and peeps like i don't knowhow to explain it other then tilt like crazy not even a complaint more i don't know how to say it other then don't get in your head too mutch about it its not healthy, peeps is understandable because the pulls have been hot dog water.

like i think the problem now is farfa and coder do just suffer from recoil when the start losing and i guise in farfas case at least its the lose streak mind set which i get its understandable aspecialy when done playing a deck i get that (again farfa if you read this not a slight its a genuine attempt to point something out and not be a dick about it, saying this to note i know you react and trying to be clear is not agroo its a "you good fam?")
