If you run the idea back I think the stat nerfs should stay specific like they are but the stat buffs should give you a choice so they don't just end up useless all the time, for example instead of +30 Atk it could be +30 Atk or Def.

Whatever they choose they have to take the item for it but even still have a random ability so the item can be either very useful or a nerf depending on the ability

Patterz should have gone for Regidragos HP stat when building Goodra and made the thing tanky as sin with Body Press and Leftovers+Protect.
