the ice ambiance appears in real life on frozen lakes, its not really cave related given the conditions for it to happen are entirely related to frozen rivers and icebergs

Here is hoping we get at-least packed ice slabs, but stairs would be nice as well for those times where you don't want a brick pattern
It would be cool if we also got blue ice block varieties as well for texturing reasons but the fact that we got ice varieties at all is cool
They need to make those ice blocks slippery since they're still ice.

lava is magma that was expunged from the earths crust.
magma is liquid planetary crust.
as far as we know the crust on this planet has no liquid h2o in it., even if it did, the environment is too hot, the atmospheric pressure too low to keep it as a liquid. to be classified as lava, the liquid rock needs to leave the crust as a liquid.
on earth if at all it would release as steam. steam is a gas. lava is always a liquid.
on this planet, water can never be lava
its chemical properties dont allow for this.
