Sony have tried to stop PlayStation 5 jailbreaking via forced firmware updates, but those firmware updates are very quickly making headway in being jailbroken as well. That also means upcoming games like GTA 6 might be freely downloadable for people who take advantage of this exploit, which people are happy to do since “if buying isn’t owning than piracy isn’t stealing”.

The obvious countermeasure to this is ensuring the executable binaries/libs remain encrypted at all times, even in RAM. And have a decryption coprocessor in the cpu package itself.
You could then even send the decryption keys in an encrypted form to said coprocessor using a platform-specific asymmetric encryption key.
If AI/devs can't read the machine instructions, they can't decompile/recompile/reverse engineer them.
GTA6 was always game that was easy to skip but it being only digital made it so much more easier
