Hey y'all Phobia here! First off I want to say its been heartwarming and energizing as we read through your feedback. It's been a wild year getting this done and we ended up with something far bigger than planned but we are very proud of. Wanted to answer some questions here that might come up, we'll be doing a Q&A stream soon as well.
First off the episode is missing the opening and ending credits, this is just a time issue as we still needed to do the opener and our ending credits artist is still wrapping up. We figured better to get the episode out to everyone instead of taking the extra month or so for them. They will be in episode three however!
Second is that future episodes will not be this long and so should be coming out quicker. As we solidify our workflow, improve as writers, and most importantly take a big hatchet to the scripts we plan to run closer to ten minutes in the future. Hopefully lol.
Third, I posted this before but just repeating so we can pin it here. Esther McDarren isn't a real person. Have to mention because I see a lot of people trying to look her up, that was just a name I came up with on the spot and doodled some old gay gothic art to toss behind V. Def a representation of the many buried queer artists throughout history but yeah not an actual individual. I'm so sorry if you wasted time looking that one up, hopefully it led you to interesting poets you didn't already know about!

Because I was trying to look her up, and either my research skills have gotten really rusty, or she's so niche that I literally couldn't find anything about her or the poem
Edit: Finished the episode and read the comment about her not being real. I know now
"You can just call me V. I don't really like my name. Haha!" and then the gentle knowing smile as Bunlith shifts V from "annoying guy" to "annoying girl" in her head

I think that reusing the Nightmare Kart assets worked out really well. I was a little worried that it would just be fan service, which would have been fine, but a little superficial. However, I think all the nods to the struggles of fighting drm, proprietary systems, and copyright gave it a stronger punk rock vibe than the esthetic alone could have achieved. And also that werewolf vicar IS pretty hot…
The animation and story telling is fantastic with very little filler 10/10 will continue to watch future episodes.

Hello I just want to say that I start follow this channel and all of this series thing
First the first of all was really fantastic I love the character design, I love the choice of animation they used which I still dont know what it called but the animation that look to be leaning to old style video game is really unique and Iove it
NOW there is something I have to say, I dont know if I miss the context or they have been hinting it since episode one. But first when the character V seem to like wearing girl cloth and dont like his real name. I was like "Oh so he might be that type of character. okay" then when the story go on and when I though they about to have serious talk and it end up as transgender stuff I was like "Okay where do that come from".
Well to be true I dont know any of these terms stuff. Like when V said he is an ally I dont even know the meaning he try to imply and I have to search what do it mean. So yeah I am just shock that the story have lots of story related. . . I dont know what to call the gender stuff..
Which I am really okay! I am just surprise that the story is leaning to this and I really like the video. Oh and thank god I have learn Biology and know what estrogen is atleast I still understand that point (Well mostly with more knowledge do to Petra Parker trend)
Well that's all I just want to say I dont understand anything that the comment is talking like I dont even know what egg are you guy is talking. if it okay anyone with knowledge can teach me the terms of this stuff
