All you have to do nowadays is look at the team photo … if the geek ratio is too low and there are many people in there with pruple hair and nose rings , the game is not for you… it is with most if not all games nowadays

I don’t think the problem is activism or crappy character writing. If the game isn’t FUN, that’s the BIGGEST problem for the western gaming industry. So long as the game is fun to play, everything else surrounding it will fall to the wayside.
Hoffman ,Prescott absent . Marcus taking orders from a women just like gears 5. There were actually no women soldiers in gears 1 and gears 2 if there were they used to collaborate not try to be the boss of the squad. Gears trilogy had originality in gameplay and dialogue no wannabe nonsense.

And there’s so many wokies defending the game saying it’s great but I don’t see it. Been watching gameplay and there’s nothing special or different about it besides taking away they crouched run and wall Bounces. There really no new enemies. Environmental destruction is Cero compared to old games. The story telling is very bad. The campaign you can win it without playing I saw how a dude just let his character there standing and he got resurrected each time and the Bots made all kills. That takes away the need of you even trying. The main characters are sidelined and shit on every opportunity fml.
EDIT: I wrote this comment before it was addressed in the video. Just wanted to say that I MIGHT be willing to buy an on sale Gears of War E-day PS5 port. That would very much be a decision based on wanting to paly that Horde Siege mode. Honestly I don't know how much value that mode gives or how fun it is compared to how GoW 3-5 did it. So maybe there is a market for a PS5 port, but I don't actually know how much it would help sales given how much of a flop this game seems to be.
I moved over to PlayStation to paly games I hadn't had access to since being on the Xbox since the 360 days.
Just wanted to remind people that Gears of War E-day was talked about as though it was going to be fully cross platform and that changed somewhere along the way. I'm saying that because I was seriously thinking about hooking up my series S just to experience the game. Now after launch though I don't really think I missed out on this one haha.
