  1. Heya Pchal, doing the unsolicited advice thing for cs, I guess if you are really doin all of everything for cs and still struggling I would recommend a coach? Get someone with an outside perspective to help ya learn how to learn cs. It could also genuinely be that you have to play the game more though. Like Mid-tier players have 1000 hours and usually lower rank peeps are 250 hours so it could just be a time investment type thing. When I was first starting out and didn't have the time for full on matches I did a bunch of retake servers so I could play against real people in a scenario that would come up a lot to get a feeling for the game. But everyone has something different that helps them learn best, either way good luck and keep having fun!

  2. I feel like you are making CS way to complicated for how low you are. Most People at that elo dont give a shit about all the techy shit you are trying to learn, you are expecting low tier people to make smart plays. While game sense is important, it matters more at a higher elo. Think youll improve when you stop outthinking the room

  3. fairweather pchal daily watcher here, this is some of the best pokemon content ever. hats off to platinum kaizo, hats off to pchal for playing it blind and for being a good role model, hats off to the thumbnail artist, and hats off to the stream chatters

  4. Can’t play shooters if you didn’t play them when you were younger. You either have it or you don’t. Or you play when your brain is developing and it’s grows with those skills

  5. If you care about a randoms advice. Stop worrying about the smokes and the lineups. You're overpowering your brain. Work on your aim and practice peaking corners and winning your fight. Throw the flash and send it

  6. Editor is doing GOD'S work, keep it up 👏 Small note though, I think the "large amount of text appears for one frame" thing is kinda getting annoying. I like it here and there but it feels like it's waaaaaay overdone. I'd much rather be able to see the funny little editor note without having to back up and pause every 5 minutes 😭

  7. ngl i dont think he even reads comments on this channel but at the level hes at in CS he should just stop fucking thinking about it. like stop using smokes man just click on the enemy model at this point

  8. I think the foreshadowing pan adds to the narrative and thematic tone rather than take away because it’s become a parody of itself to an extent. I believe it has NOT been overused (yet)

  9. If Jan ever reads this: Here's some advice for most ranked competitive games: Sometimes playing well gets you killed because you react and act faster than your teammates. As in, with equally competent teammates, you'd never fail as you do. The problem is, in fact, you're playing too well for your own good. This is what has a lot of players stuck at a certain rank threshold.

Just like in competitive Pokémon: A good read against a stupid player will cause a misplay that will lose you the game. You expect them to play optimally. But they catch you off-guard with the worst idea ever.

  10. Something I learned early on playing competitive shooters is to always focus on positioning and timing first over everything! Aim, cool lineups, weird tips and tricks only help so much if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time 24/7!!!

  11. i just wanted to say that I enjoy the editor’s work immensely and they add so much liveliness to the video! I love all the bits and personal comments and I think they are a huge part of what makes this pchal daily run so memorable!!

  12. 32:50 The impression I've gotten from friends in northern/northwestern Germany is that there is also a cultural split between Bavaria and the rest of Germany. But perhaps this split is less noticable for people from Baden-Württenberg?

  13. on god an underrated aspect of being good at cs is just gamesense. like i am ass at aiming and gunfights but i also just have a good feeling of what the enemies are gonna do before it happens and so i just get the advantage

  14. 5:30 Have you tried focussing on shooting people in the face faster than you get shot in the face? I know this is backseating as hell but it just sounds to me like you enjoy the intricate system of micro-optimizations more than the actual game. You are over there stuck in rotten driftwood league, worrying about micro-optimizations that the people you're playing with literally never heard off. Maybe returning to the hyperoptimization once it actually becomes relevant opens up more headspace for the stuff that actually matters at the moment.

It sounds a bit like people that have been lifting weights for 3 months and are already spending 200 bucks per month on obscure a** supplements and running a PPLPPL reverse pyramid miso rep upside down stacked rest overload regime, when they would probably be seeing better progress with an 80% less stressful and especially much less time consuming "lift one of the 3 main lifts 5×3 an go home" plan. Cognitive overload is a thing and enough rest times are also a thing. Maybe "overtraining" is a thing in video games too. Maybe playing counter strike every day after churning through the worlds hardest childrens video game for 4h is just a little much.
