I see obvious references to the old glamour of Hollywood. There is also undeniable inclusion of Midwestern "trashy" aesthetics.
We see a vulnerable side of her in the bathroom and the boudoir. But also a destructive or chaotic side of her with the flaming grill.
I see the color pink as a sign of romance which was very dominant in UNKOWN LOVERZ. But it's kinda fading in this video "Love's wearing off".
There is some nostalgia. I see some kind of housewife who starts to accept the ugly truth of being cheated on. She's falling apart, because without her husband, what else is she than the role of a committed housewife? There is of course the taxidermy/ trophy room we already know since CRANK.
