The Blood of Dawnwalker Review – As Good As Witcher 3 ??
In this The Blood of Dawnwalker review, I’m going to be talking about one of the most anticipated RPGs releasing this year, and the best game I saw at Gamescom last year. The Blood of Dawnwalker. Coming from a new studio Rebel Wolves, which consists of developers who worked on the Witcher series. The Blood of Dawnwalker promises to deliver an engrossing RPG set in a low fantasy medieval setting.
In this review, I will tell you whether Rebel Wolves succeeded in delivering a memorable experience or not, and whether it’s a day one purchase or to wait for a sale.

I won't be playing any game with level scaling. It takes away so much of the fantasy.
Ok so, played the game yesterday.
Plus: Great graphics
Great world feeling(you can feel the oppression the vhakiri(vampires) are inflicting on this valley
Overall good but not amazing voice acting
Great writing
Amazing theme(vampires will never not be cool.
Time mechanic is awesome…I love that I have to actually make a choice between getting herbs to heal someone and helping a friend find their brother.
Combat shows signs of greatness
Minus:
Requires some knowledge of PC tech to run the game well and there's a deadzone bug for PC controllers that is fixable
Combat feels about 80% there. Turn off direction indicators to increase immersionj but the animations and just feel of combat feels a little off.
Directional combat is good if combat were smoother…IMO it should have just been left or right, not up and down.
Traversal feel kinda clunky
Graphics both look amazing and kinda low poly at the same time…can probably be fixed with mods or a patch.
So, I would give it right now, a 7.5/10 with the ability thru mods and patches to be a 9-9.5/10

It looks like a great game but the time limitation is a deal breaker for me.
Nobody in their right mind is going to pay €70 for a single player game, especially since it's already cracked by Rune and free on the internet.
Time mechanics aren't my bag. I enjoy exploring every nook n cranny
Pass. I don't like games where you're not rewarded for leveling up and getting more powerful. If I ever play it, it will be for the story.
The time system kills it
Looks shite.
The time mechanics domt reallu mean what it makes it seem, you can just cheese it
No stealth mechanics in a vampire game???
there’s a complete lack of choice. This game forces you to care about your family. And the story is great if you wanna be a good guy. But if you are a player who disagrees with your family and wants to go full dark side the game will not allow it. I wanted to decide with the vampires from the beginning and it won’t allow you to do that.
Honestly love how they did this, 30 days 30 nights to save your family and u can either go straight for it underleveled n all or build coen up then go for them or just not go for them at all and the story takes turns n shit man, its so good.
I remember seeing the devs say you can continue after that timer hits zero, it just impacts your story's direction as they put it.
Does the controller feel and respond better than that janky mess that was Witcher 3?
Yup, the The BlooF of Dawnwalker is a great game LOL
And they want 70 bucks
This game is amazing so far. The only thing I don’t like is the time limit bc it does go by really fast.
I just hate that combat style so much
There's literally no games with new ideas anymore. This looks like another clone of a clone. Global reset required.
This game would’ve been great in 2017
Today's the day my fellow gamers. This is the first title that I ever pre-ordered, & my gut tells me it'll be money well spent.
Yeah because all of Europe is the same
Coming for mortal shell 2 which has far superior combat and graphics this game feels old
not a fan of time limit in an rpg, worst mechanic ever.
I'm not sure why people keep calling the time mechanic interesting like it's novel – i feel like Persona games have done essentially this for a long time? Anyway, looks like i'll continue to put my time in zero company and perhaps wardogs and wait for this to go on sale after they've polished the game further.
I don’t think many gamers realize how difficult is it to create a video game with nuance to cater to gamers with a brain cell count greater than Fortnite. I can’t wait to buy this tomorrow. Still gotta complete Zero Company.
