Ugh… that library is so good! Some of your simple choices really highlighted what makes it grand but it doesnt lose its cozy feel
the non symetrical look with the painting of mumbo looks good, much better than with the other painting there
For Killa a Tango, you know how people build orbital cannons in Minecraft now? You should go last, have a very modest looking killing spot as a deception and then ABSOLUTELY OBLITERATE mushroom island, killing everyone and erasing the island.
25:45 maybe you could add two blocks of black concrete instead? since that side of the painting is mostly black, though idk if it not having volume like the painting would look good (maybe cleo sells black maps?)
Absolutely love the way EGG's meeting with Scar went 😂 Doc's reputation on the server is one of the top reasons he's one of my favorite Hermits 😎 but honestly I love you all, such a wonderful community and I'm so thankful to have it in my life 💓
So inspiring 🤩 makes me all the more excited to work on my own palace and grand library, but I'm focusing on the city around it and making it a free roaming villager trading town so it's gonna be a while 😅 also putting in a tropical swimming pool room with dolphins in it inspired from a book series called Saga of Seven Suns 😎
Speaking of the library being more accurate, you should think about putting more ladders up the sides of any shelves more than 4 blocks tall.
A detail to think about when making these grand libraries is how people would actually access the books on the higher shelves rather than just breaking up the pattern.
Maybe two 1x1s stacked next to iJeven's instead? I really love your build and the details that you think to add.

Gem, it would be pretty cool if you did some sort of Murder Mystery Ball for the Hermits from the Library. You could make a game out of it and lead them to discover clues and such. Just an idea…. The atmosphere would be elegant.

I needed to tell someone. I was in the Nether, tossing a Trident with loyalty at Ghasts… After I downed a few, one dropped a music disc. AMOS RODDY – TEARS. omg. I had no idea!!! It's framed on a wall in my base along with the Trident I was using. Lol Have a great day!!! Keep 'em coming 🥰
