I'd like to point out that it's 2026 and gacha games are like a science now. You could blow your load early and try a popup early, but modern gacha games have solved their biggest problem: retention. It's not about making a quick buck, it's about getting you invested eough to care about coming back for daily gameplay. If they have retention, then they can play the long game in keeping you around during the honeymoon phase before a new character appears to tempt you, or a big hurdle to your progression appears. You care now, and that's where your eyes wander over to the shop to spend money just when you're most vulnerable.
