WoW Forever has some insane updates just before launch, including news that WoW Forever will get major content updates and new raid tiers faster than Retail does. Almost all of the problems with layering and sharding should be fixed for launch day, there are some very weird class nerfs and changes being datamined right now, and the dev team might consider adding triple spec some time in the future.

Every class getting worked on except for shaman lol, we need a shaman streamer
Let me see 1 damn Panda and I unsubscribe.
Raiding has never been a fun experience in Vanilla or Classic for solo players. Missing content because you don't want to be a sheep on someone's guild or shepherd a flock of your own sucks. So hopefully they add LFR if they're planning to make raiding a big part of Forever.
Retail is already a confusing circus to returning or new players. Don't make Forever similar. And triple spec = everyone rolling 'need' on almost everything for their 'off spec'. Slow down Blizz!
High elves and blood elves I would've been fine with but I despise th disgusting new elves and their reasoning for making them up exemplifies everything wrong with modern blizzard.
Retail and forever are completely separate MMORPGs and will have mostly separate player bases. So it's blizzards call on how much content to add to what and when. Idc
Glad I didnt play the beta lol
Too much Raid focus AGAIN blizzard, this is where you loose people just like retail.
Eh, Emerald Dream can rot at this point. I don't think it's remotely relevant or cool at this point.
Edit: Also these racial changes need to be looked at again. idk why they can't just sit down and actually use their brains on these.
Every 4 months?? Are they crazy? They gonna run out of ideas in few years:))))
Stupid idea….
Honestly dual spec should be available immediately after you get your first talent point.
That way people can get used to tanking and healing ASAP instead of transitioning at level 40.
I am sick of raiding as the "endgame" content. I'd rather have primarily 5 man PvE content and open world PvP objectives.
Nah 4 months is crazy
Humans are the real monsters.
Raid tiers is way too fast. Way too fast. Think about five years from now. You want there to be fifteen tiers of power between the early and late raids? Player power shouldn't grow that different either between a new 60 and an old one.
They should absolutely not make the world bigger, but a dungeon here and there in a far land would be cool. If they want the world bigger then add sailing and ships.
Triple spec should cost the same as an epic mount if it's added, but that slippery slope definitely needs to be avoided. Lock in and experience weaknesses and make choice that matter because there are limits to what you can choose for each of your characters.
Well maybe they tested Hunter and found out that with all the talent changes they did way more damage than everyone else? 🤷♂️
100% I support triple spec!! Or capital city respec unlock at 60
i feel 6 months is better every 6 months for major content updates i feel is a good idea
I don't want triple spec. They shouldn't do triple spec. It gets too much into the "I can do everything on a single character," nonsense that a lot of people hate.
It's weird to me how they keep referencing events like Cataclysm. "We'll see Gilneas before it gets destroyed in the Cataclysm." I was under the impression, from things devs have previously said, that Forever exists in its own timeline. The Cataclysm never has to happen. Why are we still using events in the timeline of retail as frame of reference for Forever? They exist as separate timelines. We don't have to look at everything from the perspective of "This is before we go to outland, before we take on the Lich King, before Deathwing breaks out of Deepholme." That timeline is separate. We don't have to look at the events from Retail as what lies in the future of Forever. We're not stuck in this weird inbetween time of late stage vanilla but before we go through the dark portal. That's putting an unnecessary limit on the stories that can be told, when they've said the two timelines exist separately, almost like 2 distinct realities, alternate universe sort of stuff.
THIS IS SOOOOOOO FUCKED UP
NEW RAID EVERY 4 MONTHS?!?!?:?/?.$/?:&/ wtf
Blizzard is going to screw this up. They can't help themselves. Despite everything they say, they always fall into the same trap.
I am no longer excited for this. I bought the beta and am sick of the bs changes at this point. Yes, I know changes will happen but it shouldn’t be the way they are doing it.
All i say to this big intro is. Fck retail wow let it burn to the ground. We dont need it at all. All the zoomers and flashy noob stuff can go to cod or some asian feelingless flashy spam clicker game
Still nothing about fixing the leveling pacing and difficulty. Completely tone deaf company.
Blood Elves would have fit 400% better.
Keep it spread out, I want Forever to be the slow paced home of normal people with a life and job. The sweats can play retail if they want progression and constant raids
2 raids every 4 months is alot especially if were expected to continue to run old raids
Correction they did skybourne because there is to many left wing nut jobs working at blizzard its there nod to the blue sky app that the left use
Hey bud thanks for another great video. You keep knocking it out of the park. As for Retail vs Forever: After the Beta closed I thought, what the hey, I'll give Retail a try (hadn't played in years). I quickly remembered why I stopped playing, and stopped again. Spoiler alert: I guess Silvermoon City was destroyed at some point (why do the Devs think this is a good idea? It's been a theme in this game from Cataclysm on.). But I guess it's been rebuilt, and is now a big hub. But it is ugly as hell and the original, beautiful, haunting, bittersweet music has been replaced with an over the top, cinematic score with no personality whatsoever and is completely forgettable. Everything in the game is bright and shiny and kumbayah let's have a group hug and talk about our feelings. As always, the class gameplay is fun and very polished, but the talent bloat is enormous. However, I could live with that: it gives players options and lets them deep-dive and customize. But the game has completely lost its soul, and is unrecognizable. I have no doubt that whatever caused Blizzard to destroy Retail will eventually corrupt and demolish Forever, but I'm going to enjoy it as much as possible until they do.
Rogue fixes, please.
Faster content is nice for pve, but for pvp its questionable.
Idk how fast we getting honor points and if the items that you get is still available after the season ended.
That said, 4 months deadline for rank 14 seems kinda short.
Three months is WAY too fast! WoW is a game where you want at least six months to level alts, join multiple guilds, invite friends and play a game for at least half a year where things mean something. Six months was WAY too slow for retail because nobody has alts because the game sucks. I do think that having an awesome version of wow with slower seasons to open things up is the way to go. I also HATE daily quests. I think they should hard level time gate like the did in beta instead of doing a crappy soft time gate with dailies at endgame. Having a hard lvl time gate where you cannot lvl past 20 etc makes the endgame happen over and over instead of once maximizing fun value. Between reasonable lvl time gating and long seasons the temporal influence would result in true WoW forever.
Balance changes with no actual testing. Brilliant, what could go wrong
Definitely no raids every 4 months. Maybe a new level 10 beginning dungeon, etc but not raids.
Unless it's fun raids like a "twink" raid so they're not stuck in PvP all the time.
Having two different elves on each side would have been infinitely better imo, destroying the faction war from day 1 is such a fumble
just enjoy it.
Tripple spec is a good sign, a big life changer for hybrids. 4 mo is way too fast. Gear will quickly get too powerful and invalidate older content.
4 months feels too slow to me, 3 sounds right
So instead of a third spec, I think it should stay as two specs available to swap between when you are out and about, but say on an hour cooldown you can go to a capital city to swap those 2 for other builds you have saved without spending gold.
So elemental shammies will still suck.
the blood elf cop out is some backbending to justify blue elf
Man, those root diminishing returns may take away every bit of benefit from hunters being able to trap in combat. Traps were already tough to land on competent players.
I don’t know why I allowed myself to get sucked back into this, it’s like leaving and Ex and then go back to her because she said she changed and is different now
