Seeing all these content creators get it is depressing im such a huge zelda fan and wanted one but i couldn't because it was sold out instantly and so i got a regular one in time to play ocarina and it sucks yes i have a switch 2 but i should have been able to get the special edition. Idk maybe later i can try to trade it in for one at some point but idk man im not willing to sell my switch 2 less than 430
Yeah it's a gorgeous console, the dock is amazing, I missed out on the pro controller sadly but that should come back in stock eventually
Looks cool, but i wouldn't be able to spend another 500 on a reskinned console. One is enough for me, I'd rather spend that on more games or some cool accessories but no shade for the people who do though.

Ended up buying the regular switch 2 last month, the zelda edition looks great but for £100 more i couldnt justify the cost, especially as it would just be hidden behind my tv.

The back design looks like a pillow design you would find at home goods. I love the rest of the design though

You missed one small detail… they are using the OLD version of the switch 2 for this!!! instead of the new repairable one with the replaceable battery, you can tell because the new version uses standard philips head screws (4 prong) & going by that shot of the back with the cover off it looks like this one uses the old 3 prong proprietary screws.
I didn't Pre-order it, so I went to two Targets first, as they both said they wouldn't sell it until the 5th or 8th, so then I went to Best Buy and was blessed to get one, along with a pro controller.
I wonder if this person is happy. With all these games and electronics, constantly buying. The safer options… people who feel lonely often enjoy unboxing. I can relate to that experience.
So the initial runs do not have the replaceable batteries. Good to know, not sure if stock is limited due to the switch in manufacturing.
