BO3 was my first COD and i was HORRIBLE, my friends didnt want to play with me, i had to learn and get better, so i watched better players and learned from my friends, eventually got really good, 2+KD master prestige twice
SSBM destroyed the game for me, no need to get better, when you are good, get thrown into CDL scrims, crazy work

I never really thought about it, but yeah that meme is kind of right for MW2 and MW3.
Its like in MW3, they designed the spawn for one team, and then just forgot about the other
Like in Arkadaan, one team spawns in the car park, and the other is just somewhere randomly in the mall?
In village, one team spawns in the protected cave, and the other in the choke point where all the gunfights happen?
In underground, one team spawns in the bus area, while the other is just in an unprotected patch of gravel near the trains?
Bakaara doesnt really have a spawn, its top of the hill vs bottom of the hill.
Fittingly enough, I think the best spawns in the game are in the map bootleg, which is remake of Chinatown from Cod4
i feel like most people have forgotten, but in the golden era of Cod, we got four $20 DLC's with four maps a piece and a zombies map if it was treyarch. That was enough to keep everyone on the game for the whole year because the game was fun and the maps were usually great. Now we get 5x the content and that cant even bring people back one month after launch

It's time we take it past IW and Activision and plead directly to the CEO of Microsoft, SBMM burning players year after year after year is starting to show in a larger scale, Why I refused to get MW4, the rug pull on BO7 which was actually going pretty decent just out right ruined it, the want for the franchise to be good can only go so far if they keep burning the players.

There was a time when I knew every Call of Duty release date months in advance. I'd be counting down the days, trying to find any excuse to get out of school or take a day off work just to play at launch. Now? I didn't even know BO7 or MW4 were coming out.
That's how much the hype has fallen off for me. I just don't understand why they refuse to give fans what they've been asking for. At this point, just do it. If it works, great. If it doesn't, then Activision can finally tell us, "We gave you exactly what you wanted, and it didn't work." Honestly, I'd be totally fine with them roasting us for it, and I think most of the community would too. At least we'd finally have a real answer instead of endlessly debating what Call of Duty should be every year.

There are lots of issues with this game. One in particular is how trapped you feel when someone sees you first. It almost always results in you dying.
On MW3 I used to be able to turn and zig zag and reposition and survive. MW4 just feels too slow, too sluggish.
Streamers ruined cod. It’s simple.
I dont think you can judge player count as this is the first cod to finally move on from the old gen consoles that alone takes 30% of the player base away
CoD needs to move to a server browser. All problems solved.
Experience got so bad by Prestige 4-5 i bought a VPN. VPN makes the game just as bad as SBMM in ways because i’m almost always playing poopers instead of just a mix of random people.
I don’t play COD no more but I guarantee if they removed SBMM it won’t change anything long term because when the casuals quit because they tired of being crapped on, the whole game would be left with demons so it will be right back to square one

I played every cod for the last 15 years but I have never had a Cod thats so unpolished and unfinished like MW4. The FFA situation is just representative for the actual state of the game series.

I get it I also want to nuke noobs but from a balance prospective it’s not a good retention design. If you are considdered a “pro” player you only have other pro players to match with. Matching a pro vs a noob should never be a thing and if you disagree with simple facts you are simply proving me right because there is no valid argument against my logic.
