Soviet tank destroyers in War Thunder can be hilarious, but I thought the Su-122-54 was frustrating to play due to its bad gun handling. I revisited it with a more positive outlook and had an absolute blast, especially thanks to the nuke shell.

The Su-122-54 is great. Apart from the T-10M my favourite 122 bonk machine. You can shrug off a surprising amount of hits and it overpressures, so that's always cool.
And basically having your own aa is much appreciated as well.

Last time I played it the SU-122-54 was pretty much one of the best vehicles in the entire game and insanely overlooked. It survived many situations that it simply shouldn't have survived and its big machine cannon can cripple and destroy enemy vehicles. It also fires all sorts of ammunition so there is nothing that can withstand its gun.
Nuclear Option is plagued with bad controls, shame mouse control is patented.
