Ironically it did end up being my first guess in aprt because of that, I didn't think any of the more iconic character would've actually been the first one adn it probably would've been something more generic.
And then I remembered the Black Knight was one of the monsters in the second lave action movie (and I think there was also a section referencing them in the first live action movie too) and I couldn't really think of any other reason why the Black Knight of all things would get such consistent references if it wasn't becuase it was the first villain or some similar level of trivia.
