The obsessive need to hyper balance every choice and so making every choice irrelevant – even their patch notes again show how little they understood that classic was great because it had imbalance not in spite of it. This is why trying to improve all the loot and give everyone a balanced choice simply means all loot is boring and all choices meaningless.
Racials are an outdated concept imo. A concept that could work is to go more for a D&D RPG style. Chose your race, but skills are inherited from where you grew up, who was your mentor, what was your trade. Those three options defines your skills.
Example, growing up as a Human on the plains with a Dwarf mentor would give you plainsrunning and stoneskin. Play the race that resonates with you and get the skills that fit your playstyle, not pigeonhole you to a X race for Y class…
Balance issue also mostly resolved.
what an amazing change for orc, i wanted to play a BM hunter orc, and the best possible racial was brought back for me 😀
I would just make plains running 10 percent instant and leave it at that.
Don't worry, Orcs will get flying in next update.

9:07 come on esfand how come its tuning as for skybornes. Literally they make 15 min buff to 15 seconds and also halfed the 100% regen to 50% while the horde side gets double the movement speed was 15% previously now 30% ? a free sprint every 2 mins ? Come on. Tune me up now

watch blizzard patch the speed buff after launch to get disabled if you get in combat

Skysight +30% mouvement speed seems better than tauren 60% to me…taurens lose stacks. 30% is aspect of the cheetah with no daze when hit and remains after death.
This is dumb yoo straight up even 30% is dumb a 5% would be op. They just aint cooking good enough 🙁

I played turtle wow, it had 60% plains running from level 40, and there was a cool chain quest. You could also increase plains running to 100% at level 60
Aprils fools ? jeez man. I have a feeling they are going to change things like this since launch and it will be miserable. Also so many unnecesarry changes because of the tourney like jeez lvl 30 dueling balance ?
Orc having more pet damage is lame cause it makes it useless for other classes with no pets. 1% crit would've been fine since works for all classes. Idk why we're pushing plainsrunning even more, it was fine. Losing hit chance and crit damage well that kinda sucks. Cultivate is useless and delete it already. I rather eat grass that gives you HP/Mana regen. Similar to undead cannibalize. Overall, it'll be fine, just not vibing with these changes is all.
Tauren should just get unlocks to get the plainsrunning 1 stack to 30% then at 40 they get 2 stacks to 60% and at 60 3 stacks to 100% and any hits just half the stacks
Blizzard should just remove all passive stats from racials because players seem incapable of having a fair perspective on them.
How do they balance the tauren racial in pvp?
The humans was 2% because they didnt get any other offensive racial, they didnt have any sort of damage steroid like orc did, but people cry

This is what happens. Current Blizzard are simply NOT what made classic WoW. Slowly but surely they're introducing one little change after another and turning Forever into Retail.

holy shit, can we just make racials all flavor/convenience and not anythign which boosts your combat power, like blizzard said they dont want to cahnge them after launch so now everyone panicking, because PEOPLE WANNA OPTIMIZE and if you choosing your favorite race feels like ur shooting urself in a foot because race you dont like has way better combat boost from racials, its just stupid…
This will be reverted faster than you can say "intern".
