I felt the pain of your experience being right next to the outpost. I once built my base too close to one without realizing it, and someone accidentally started a raid in my trading area that never ended because the pillagers just kept spawning in the outpost and coming over.
I can’t lie, I did audibly yelp when you opened the last door and there was suddenly a Grian with a Sulfur head on, so it worked pretty well
