Might need some extra challenges like challenging weather (fog, wind, snowfall), requiring the user to perform avalanche control with explosives. Also maybe adding an economic challenge like keeping it profitable may be interesting. Then add ski accidents requiring med-evac or the need to maintain slope surfaces using machinery.
Vail resorts will buy these slopes out too
