I checked some sims for retri dps at lv 60 with best retri – gear available in the database. For me it was concerning because a hybrid shock/retri was always ahead in dps of retribution (also with retri gear!) I hope they will adress that because for me it kinda kills the retribution vibe 🙁
Edit: i do know sims are not accurate right now, but all of them ended with the same results
I think they should scale raids etc to how many people there are so that you with proper gear can solo things too. Just like osrs

I don't like endgame wow
I hope, and my hope will just blow away like US Hauses in a Tornado, the will enforce strict rules on RP servers. the reason the RP community in WOW is not that big? They never cared about the RP community and most them left within the first 5 yrs. the wildest names were deemed RP worthy and never changed etc.

Even is i have about 300 mounts in retail and plenty or battle pets doesn't mean that i like it.
After retail TWW+that island upgrade..what ever i got enough of Retail didn't feel like it was wow anymore.
Played vanilla at the time wen a Paladin in MC could go OOC=out of combat and could res everyone in case of wipe.
the time wen was ninja loot "still exist", the time of drama queen etc etc 🙂 hehehehe
We will see how long people play wow4ever.
Paladins are a straight up support class, Stop trying to give them a cape.
13:40 Why would I play WoW4Ever? For me, the answer is simple. Blizzard released Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Diablo II: Resurrected, and D2R ROTW. Many of us older players stayed with Diablo II because it kept the core experience we loved. We did not move on to Diablo III or Diablo IV.
I feel the same way about World of Warcraft. Retail WoW became too much for my taste, with constant changes, microtransactions, and systems being replaced every expansion. I hope WoW4Ever follows the example that Diablo II: Resurrected did: preserve what makes the game great instead of constantly reinventing it.
Players generally like improvements and quality-of-life updates, but not having the game fundamentally changed every six months. If WoW4Ever starts following the same path as Retail WoW, with endless expansions and constant redesigns, I think it would lose the identity that attracts many veteran players in the first place.
If that happens, then for me it's simple: I'll say goodbye and go back to D2R.
Of course, this is only my personal opinion.

Yes, it was enjoyable, but that plague zombie crap was terrible. Once my pet became a zombie, I couldn't dismiss him, replace him, or summon my own pet. I was forced to keep a useless zombie pet, and that completely killed the fun of the mechanic.
And no lag at all! well done.

the biggest reason im playing forever is because with the realmless ruleset setup, the lvl cap of 60 i feel confident that twinking will return unlike when classic hit and everyone just rushed to 60 and it was all about endgame, i feel like forever will bring back the true vanilla essence with full realms and pvp rivalry
Well me and my mates are coming back after vanilla because this game seems to respect your time a bit more and everyone is a dad now! So that’s huge

Before I heard of Forever I started Era, since I find retail light years from the WoW I love (TBC and WotLK the most) so playing Beta now was the actual perfect mix of Era and a little bit of the things I miss from earlier 2007/2009 versions of the game. I will play mage as I always do as a main, but this time I think to play as Alliance despite the fact 99% of my WoW played hours were as a Horde 🙂
I can't PvP like I use to, These hands and reactions aren't the same. So sadly I'll be dropping RP-PvP.
But I'm really glad its happening.
I started playing WoW in 2007, on private server. One week after WotLK launch I moved to official server, with few friends from guild. I never had an opportunity to experience vanilla WoW (classic servers were a chance, but I had no time then, and they died really fast). I'm keep playing on retail, but last few expacs wasn't a thing for me, too much chasing for items, that have no worth in the end of a day. I prefer to farm old materials from vanilla, TBC and Wrath (that still sells for a reasonable amount of gold) than playing modern content. Places like Silithus, Blackrock or Un'goro still feels like a big mystery to me, even though I know them so well. So… let's go for the best adventure ever <3

As long as every streamer goes RPPVP i'll be happy. That is a good place for them and their communities.
WoW's original art style and graphics were bad even by 2005 standards. That's the year Doom 3 and Halo 2 came out. The appeal of WoW was something else. I don't know what but it wasn't the art or the lore.
The one bit of graphics I would like to have seen improved are the trees. The trees are the real sore thumb of the graphics.
New World? What it does it even matter, the game was shut down.

No matter what Esfand wants to demand, it isn't an emergent form of gameplay, we need a solid foundation over a bandaid fix from 15 years ago.
