  1. My main issue is still with the Pokemon DLC’s like why is Pokemon not in Pokemon? Why did the release legends ZA and then a week later say “oh hey, we made this dlc and decided not to put it into the game even though its main story and now you have to pay $35 for it even though it logically should be base game”

  2. Seen half of the game (Saving the rest for when I buy it and can play the rest) and holy peak, very clearly best one since MW2019, maybe cold war if you're giving cold war a bit of slack. If not then MW2019 for modern version of COD
11:21 what pezzy said. Take another extra 6 months after a year or even take a full 2 years to make another game, the numbers would probably do so much better without… a major doubt

  3. So I wanna talk about the conversation that came up at 31:00. I think the problems people have with paying for big DLC expansions come from the fact that (like Grizzy said) everything is behind a paywall. It's especially bad because so many paid games have Free 2 Play Monetization methods. Of course the best example of this is the battle pass. It started out in Fortnite as a way to make its money back as a free game. The problem stems from the fact that games you paid full price for also started using that monetization method.

So now you're paying $60.00 or more for a game that more often than not is shoving shit in your face that you can't get unless you open your wallet. I also think destiny 2 is a bad example Because it was a game that was originally paid for that then changed to be free to play. When it went free to play, it also had battle passes and paid for cosmetics, But it still had the big, expensive expansion packs and they should only have one or the other, not both.

  4. hear me out on cod. what if they made 2 new games just called Cod Multiplayer and Cod Zombies. That way the new releases are solely focused on a strong story and campaign and then by buying the new game it unlocks the characters and weapons to be playable in the zombies and multiplayer modes. legit exactly how they did warzone but with the other 2 modes now. now you have a dedicated team for making the multiplayer maps and gun balancing and theres another team dedicated to zombies only and the main studios are spending the entire time crafting a new story with nothing holding them back anymore

  5. 31:12 A huge offender of this is EA and Sims4. If you ignore the egregious amount of overpriced DLC they sell, they basically paywall seasons, which, in my opinion, should be in the base game for a life simulator.

  6. The Gundam skin always made me laugh when I saw people wearing the Aerial Gundam skin. So many people would wear it and spit the most homophobic stuff ever and it was hilarious because the pilot of Aerial was a woman that married a woman in the anime. It really does show that people will buy stuff because it looks cool.

  7. can you guys react to destroying a world that doesn’t exist? It’s the part 2 of a world that doesn’t exist! It’s really good and explains a lot of things you guys were left confused with! And vote for clooless!

  8. 11:20 During the "Golden Era" of COD (BO1 through I think Cold War), the games were on a three development cycle. Every game that came out during that window was made over the course of three years which is why, for the most part, they were decently good, as far as campaigns and gunplay go. It wasn't until like 5 or 6 years ago that they focused less on quality and more on deadlines, which is how you get Vangaurd and the $70 dlc that was MW3

  9. Im amazed by people that like to money dump on a game just to not play it right after. Like I have good income but never cared for cosmetics despite how much OW or Apex I’ve played.

  10. I feel like how people talk about cod is the opposite of what grizzy said, whenever I hear people talk about the good call of duties they almost always mention they campaign's or zombies, multiplayer is the reason most people buy cod but it's not mentioned as much when people talk about the good cods

  11. I didn’t stop playing COD because of the skins. Honestly, I loved running around as Snoop Dogg. Lol. I stopped because it got to the point that if you did not pre-order it, you were so behind everyone else in ranks and the game would put you in games with people who had already prestiged 3 times and were level 162 or something and you couldn’t get anywhere. I also hated that they stopped with the original ideas. I mean what happened to different COD’s? It’s been Modern Warfare and Black ops for years now. Come up with something new! Stop unaliving characters and then bringing them back just to unalive them again! It’s too much for my heart! Lol

  12. The skins are overdone. Want to play goofy skins? Go to Fortnite or some mobile game. Disappointed that there wasn’t more of an emphasis on the actual content of call of duty. They had goated campaigns, goated zombies, goated multiplayer. Then they meshed it all up because I guess you can never have too much of a good thing. DLCs allowed hardcore fans to find each other on new maps and play with new skins that they paid for with other players that bought the packs and word of mouth could convince more people to join in on the fun. The casual player or the player that didn’t want to drop another 20 bucks on a 50-60 dollar game could play and unlock the base skins and mastery skins and just overall level up, casually. There was no need for flashy cartoon characters in a franchise focused on gritty warfare and tactical plays. They fell for the hype of short attention span iPad kids demands for an eye catching game to compete with Fortnite and thought there’d be real longevity in it. New game mechanics like the omnidirectional movement and the assassination animations are what keeps games innovated and interesting. Plots, stories, and missions keeps players engaged if it’s GOOD. I miss black ops 1 and 2, and MW1, 2 and 3 because they’re actually good games. Weapon level progression drove multiplayer and the campaigns kept people hyped and invested. Zombies was fun with just survival and put up barriers. When they added objectives and an actual story with Richthofen and everyone, that was awesome and it was all my friends and I would talk about. The Easter eggs and story progression. It used to be fun man

  13. If Raven Software worked on Warzone, Infinity Ward worked on Campaign, Treyarch worked on a Zombies/PvE mode and Sledgehammer worked on Multiplayer. That COD would be the best cod ever made.
