I’ve been playing Palia for almost 3 years… did I join at the peak and the constant grind updates are the downfall? This just doesn’t feel like Palia anymore to me… Some players may be excited about this but to me this doesn’t feel like fall festive. And taking away the Halloween update before Halloween comes and goes?? Doesn’t make any sense!
Might be time for me to take another hiatus from this game. Wtf even is this update?!

It’s not really fun anymore! People now play Palia when there’s nothing else to do in their other games. Palia has become a stopgap. It’s a real shame!

@Palia I Absolutely Love this game. Some of the players, Not so much…..however, this feels way to "human-y" and not Palia world like. It feels like we should be in the 1990s L.A. world. 🙁 I would like to see the Romance for the ones we Romanced become more romantic….When will we get to see what happens in the Highlands with Eshlon and his purple wings….please continue on with the stories that we have been following. The big trees in Ulfe's place, the Highland's story with the school or tower, the fact that Hassian has mentioned Ashura's son Unrool or whatever his name is…..and his daughter….This new update just doesn't feel like it should be in Palia but more in L.A. in the 90s. 🙁 And we have already been given a Skate board path….Remember, the Path of the Shredder or something close to that. And what about the Private Servers you said were coming out, what about the Dungeons you guys said you were bringing to Palia. Please, finish the story lines you have with Eshlon and with the Elderwoods and Ulfe……

Not a good game anymore. Ever since it ceased being an indie developer and fired more than half its staff, they have only ever been in it for the money. They disregard the player base entirely in pursuit of it.
Bugs that benefit players get hotfixed immediately while bugs that cause issues to players are ignored altogether, unless it interferes with them making cash off the players.
They paywalled the latest storage limit increase. There will be more features like this in the future, you can bet on it.
The last two riding mounts they put out are still bugged where certain cookies (Like the rider's cookies) are concerned, making it much harder to try for certain traits.
The latest insult is the Halloween event going on currently. You need 45 tattered clothes to finish a bundle, but the drop rate is so bad, it only comes off rare Hallowed Jaakcats. You can farm them for hours and end up with only 5. It would take you nearly a month to get all 45. To add salt to the wound, they started the Halloween event late and are ending it early to make way for this Fall's Faire cash grab.
There's several issues with this game now, but the devs don't listen.
It seems like every month they come out with a new ranching animal. Although they allow us to 'retire' up to 50, they only give you a limit of 30 for your active ranch roster. This may sound like a lot until you actually start trying to juggle breeding animals and farming them.
Due to a bug, there is a lack of accessibility concerning people prone to seizures.
The game is unbalanced; with most things you do, you can gain skill medals that allow you to buy guild-related things. But you will end up hitting the cap with Tish's guild, because she offers no guild-related items (ie. fabric, silk, etc) except decor. There is also a point with renown where you cannot buy anything more with it, and it will cap.
Are we finally going to be able to be friends with and romance Eshelon, that was promised "in the summer update"?
