  1. It's funny how we're all agreeing on what happened in the comments yet the developers will definitely ignore us and listen to some technicolor haired consultants. Then insult us for not buying their trash. Have fun going bankrupt.

  2. Current Bioware was like a zombie that climbed out of its grave after it already died, then shambles around, tripping and falling on its face, reeking of rot, and if it sees anything with a flicker of light it, crawls towards it, with a gutteral screech on its bloated lips ……

    "Moooooonnnnneeeyyyyyyy…"

  3. Absolute killer video. And yes, number 1 is the biggest reason. Plus all of the forced trash that nobody wants in video games. Their keeping the flops coming.

  4. Stop ragging on ME Andromeda. It started bad yes, but they fixed a lot. It was supposed to be a start of a new trilogy. Plus EA is to blame for so much of the issues. They were trying to squeeze as much money out of it as possible. They are no better than the private equity firms that buy restaurants and run them in the ground out of pure greed.

  5. Project management Is hard yet there are clear signs of issues that you should not ignore.
1)Andromeda was a decent game, but came with expectstions from the Legacy of the Trilogy.
The Trilogy tended to use relatively few assets for the story line ,but in a way that didn't feel repeative. The second issue was that they wanted something more "new" added to what was already present in terms of Aliens, abilities and more.
2)Dragon age Is quite a good example of development issues, change Is good ,but going radical too many times Is way too useless.
Stiking to a model or tech helps Speed up work and develops capabilities in that regard.
If you change too often you are Just restarting the learning process.
Finally writers are usefull, but very hard keep and controll, the Classic set up Is:you must build an enviroment and get good talented peaple.
Something that Is rarerly done Is to use open innovation , get info or work from actual customers and fans…
Games have comunities and modders, what if all these small groups get to sell for a cheap price the mod ( or games in some cases even) ? You get extra income, they get extra income, fans get more contect and probably more cheaply.

  6. The correct answer is WOMEN. This is why it’s important for men to have spaces just for them. As should women. You won’t see me working at a makeup/fashion company…get the FOIDS out of the gaming industry and you will see improvement immediately. But of course in the big ol 26 I can’t say this…

  7. There's only one thing that ended Bio, it was EA. Every decision players hated was EA's. A Developer does NOTHING that a Publisher does not approve. Development Studios are not even worth talking about here. They're NOTHING but a distraction.

  8. We’re really gonna pretend the increasingly ridiculous identity politics insertions, culminating in the outrageously awful writing in Veilguard, doesn’t even make the top ten here? I can’t respect that. Coward. Unsubscribed.

  9. Andromeda got fixed, ignored then left to die sequel-less. It even teases the sodding DLC.
It's a good game IMO, combat is smoothest of all ME games & the tedious side quests typical of open worlds are optional. And let's be honest here, if the original trilogy got cut short after the first one it would not be anything more than a missed opportunity.
But what they did to Dragon Age was just depressing. The slide after Origins was fast.
