Oof, good thing I haven’t played hd2 in like a year. Recently started playing the mass effect 3 multiplayer mod to get my fix for this kind of gameplay

im not going back to HD till i can use bingus stuff without jumping through loops,
What really annoys me is people calling mods "cheats" the game is not hard enough to requires cheats, its insanse how easy me and 3 buddies (who havent touched game in over half a year) could do diff10, the game isnt hard, mods are there to have fun for us, and as long as AH wants to stop us from having fun i wont bother even trying to get them back on.
Some of these bug fixes they said are not working, they didn't fix anything
If the fact they have to shoot a hulk 2 times is all they care about then tell them to shut up
Two tapping a hulk with a primary is so nice. Why are we complaining?

HD2 not been on steam in the uk for months now
HD2 was not a game made for the normal player but was initially found and enjoyed by them however AH wanted a mil sim and so this is what they are doing to make it a mil sim as originally it was not even close to being like one and they do not care what happens to the player base as long as sony doesn't grab the by the dick and force them to go with popular demand
Take Space Marine 2 for example: a horde shooter game (that actually tries to be a horde shooter unlike the military simulator that AH wants the game to be) has implemented Steam workshop mod support and the ability to play with mods separate from the actual game progression and matchmaking system. I find it boggling that AH made this decision to make the game worse by gatekeeping the mods in the face of a competitor who made the polar opposite decision and is succeeding from that decision.
To me it seems that AH don't really understand their playerbase, and what they want. They keep adding new things to the game but ignoring long-standing issues that annoy a lot of players. New content is cool, but not if there are more important things to be resolved first.
This community is beyond entitled
It’s true the trailer is misguided . 1 expected it wasn’t a one shot lol . It would be too powerful. So i expected to be disappointed. And i confirm it takes 2 shots hands down. It takes 1 shot with the heavy sniper.
The thing about the review bomb also is that countries where the game is delisted can't leave a review. I would join in, but hey, some players were deemed unworthy of having a voice.
Easy Anticheat normally hates Linux users. I haven't tried yet but is HD2 a dead game in my library now?
I started experiencing more landscape issues than normal after this patch.
Getting shot through walls, phasing through things, and I even died instantly for mantling a low wall.
If the warbond its missing items its not inflation. Its shrinkflation.
Finally uninstalled yesterday. Take care fellow divers!

There is one kinda big issue though: The Galactic War. I know Buzz noted basically “just make it so mod lobbies dont count”. On paper that makes sense BUT that leads to numerous possible issues.
We already have the whole bug/bot/squid divers bitching at each other when an MO revolves around one specific faction and the other divers (bot MO and bug/squid divers for example) continue fighting in their areas and basically ignore the MO. With “mod divers” not counting that basically adds a fourth “faction diver” that wont be helping (even if they are fighting on the planet/against the faction)
Then you have planet liberation which works off the “active divers” value. AH would have to change that count to ignore mod divers (so then say the active divers goes from 50k to 40k with 10k mod divers active).
That then leads to ANOTHER issue: MO rewards. If mod divers are unable to assist with the MO in any way….do they still get the MO rewards?
I host a DayZ server and A Windrose server for my friend group. They both have mods on them. The mods range from basic QOL and cosmetics, all the way to belt fed LMGs. In a PVE Game….I don't see the big deal. Its not like CoD/BF6/Tarkov, where some D-hole is cross map killing you or jetpacking around with a mini gun spawn killing you.

It's funny because I don't like snipers put the first time I played with the gun I went around one shotting hulks.

i modded the projectile of the de-escalator on a liberator. it was hilarious. killed myself twice with those rapid arc explosions and then reverted it. it made a funny laser light show in the distance, though.
in my 1300 hours in helldivers2 ive encounterd 2 hacker and both there super friendly and both asked if i needed SC ( i said no bc me and my friends Farm ALOT lol ) I mainly dive with randoms when my friends are not online…. EAC is good to fight REAL hackers but as for Modding yeah sure u get mods that gives you unlimited ammo or health THOSE mods usally get shut down on Nexus real fast… Bingus Modding Should be allowed bc HE DID WAY MORE then AH ever DID! TBH I dont hate AH BUT…. Modding showed the public how LAZY AH really is and for the FIRST time I agree with the Review bombing.
The warbond is great everyone that likes sniping loves it. Everyone that was looking for a new meta in support weapons found 2 great ones, the armor is well designed,asked for, and comes with a great armor passive. People not picking can go back to COD, it's really not that serious
I love how people on that recent poll believed arrowhead would have ever permitted modding when their entire business model is drip feeding half assed paid content into the game.

Stop playing the game if player base is pissed. seems like a on going thing with helldivers. When player base numbers drop you will get what u want.
I noticed the host bug, well solo bug. Something like the elctric grenade luncher, in solo the Predator 2 shot a bot drop ship engine, and 3 for a fabricator. In squad it's 3-4 for a ship and 4-6 for a fabricator
I didn't run mods but i understand those who did. You buy the product. You use the product how you want, Final. Cheaters? Seen one in my 1700 hours of gameplay. After this update I couldn't even run the game. Game chugged along, I changed my settings to try and compensate. No Dice. Its like The Studio sold its soul to the Corporate overlords. I Regretfully have chosen to finally walk away with a broken heart. I held out for liberty for as long as I could. So many memories with friends and family. Lost to the Void of Ego, inconsistency, lying, fraud, and corporate greed. So long Space Cowboys, Hope to see Y'all on the other side. Had a Blast Diving with Y'all.
