  1. This whole topic is how I feel about the armor customization in Halo. In halo 3, the only cameo-armor in the game was hyabusa.

Art style aside, Halo 4, 5 and Infinite added so much different armor that, to me, removes immersion and the games core identity.

Halo 3 and Reach did it best.

  2. This is a pointless video. I was playing COD during the Beavis & Butthead event. Over half of every lobby was using those skins. This new toggle is just for the edgelords who take videogames way too seriously. Asmon then acknowledged that only 5% will use this toggle. People like goofy skins. Get over it.

  3. Last CoD I purchased was the last MW3. It sucks nowadays, and I don't think I'll ever return. I got to enjoy the glory days, at least I have those memories.

  4. Black Ops 7????? damn Im old, I remember first Black Ops, it was amazing game with amazing story… Well, Im not a "modern audience" so I didnt bought next games from that franchise, so I didnt even knew they made so many

  5. Even if you turn skins off you're still going to have them advertise to you on the Home Screen through the store. So they're not actually going away. I'm going to pass on this one.

  6. Doesn’t Call of Duty make billions every year because of Warzone? I think it makes more per year now in its Warzone years then it ever did pre Warzone. It would make sense that an individual retail Call of Duty game is selling worse now if the Call of Duty audience is also pumping two to four billion dollars into Warzone every year.

  7. The skins being ridiculous isnt the problem. Its the creed from the developer. They want you to spend over $100 before you even play the game and you cant tell me a outlandish skin would make it hard for a new player to know whats going on. In fact it would make it easier to spot them because of there crazy colors. I mean warzone is pvp if they aint on your team and they moving around shoot that mfer it aint rocket science.

  8. Honestly the option of turning off skins should have been there from the beginning, War Thunder has the option of disabling non-historical skins for ages for instance, skins are primarily for the enjoyment of the one using them and others are not forced to deal with it.

  9. Man, twice in a row i've disagree with these hot takes. The newest COD's campaign was awesome man, it pulled no punches. I really enjoyed it. Worth the money imo.

  10. I can GUARANTEE that the ONLY reason they added this toggle now is that they were not making enough money from skins compared to potential lost sales (and optics in general).
They absolutely could have added this toggle several games ago. It was something they actively avoided doing because they expected player backlash and fewer skin sales.

  11. Changing the formula clearly doesn't work out for them. Catering for 2 generations of people. They put health in hardcore! Same shit happened to halo.

  12. this is kinda blown out of proportion. yes it was immersion breaking, yes they were goofy, but none of these skins are what is wrong with modern COD. this is a small concession to ask you to keep playing a game that is both pay to play and has the free to play store model. all while slowly removing the gunplay, attachments, and fun of what made the game great in the first place. every year CODs gunplay becomes more "realistic" and closer to battlefeilds which never beat out COD. cod is supposed to be all the fun parts of realistic and none of the annoying parts. but they screw it up more and more each year.

  13. While Asmon calls Pokopia garbage lets all just remember how when Avowed first released Asmon was calling it an 8/10 and raving about how fun it was. Lets be careful on that high horse little ninja, your average viewer has better taste than you do off that alone.

  14. I’m more surprised it took Fortnite for Call of Duty to do all this skin stuff that people bitch about given years of Call of Duty ad campaigns were regular people and celebrities running around the battlefield like a Call of Duty matches. And people loved those advertisements. Like I wonder how many people complain about that stuff being in the multiplayer now are also people that loved the advertising campaign that was the same thing?

  15. The entire point of call of duty is you run around a map and shoot. Skins dont actually change that. The fact they can just go "look. Its all milslim now!" And then you guys line up to buy it? Games are games. And yall cry about something not gameplay related

  16. 19:18 My own personal theory for the toggle will be that they choose to keep it there, but to encourage more people to leave it off by choosing collabs that more relate to COD so they can have the best of both worlds.
