I'm going to take my time…
Imagine the guy at blizzard who writes all the quest dialogue…talk about feeling like hundreds of hours of work is totally pointless
I won't be intentionally speed running it . But I've worked the last seven months almost straight in remote camps. And I conveniently get home on October 28th for a month off at least. So I may be binging it hahahah
Weather effects can cause debuffs. Campfires would protect against said debuffs and shield you for future potential debuffs. while maybe some rare weather like rainbows or something special can cause a small amount o f boost 5% exp, more damage, armor, etc.
they should use older content lower items (gear/weapons) and having the professions use to raise them to current higher level items. Example having a level 5 back adding a lining with spirit to make it a level 15.. something like that to make these items last longer, Then maybe using gems from jewelcrafting to update to level 20 etc.
Needs to be a mod that tells you if someone is using a controller. I want to be sure i never group with someone like that.
I want scenic boat route so i can fish while riding boat. Probably get some unique fish too
beta ends 23rd
Phasing is stupid… its a system that works by zones so why not just stop allowing new players into that zone once it is saturated instead of zoning out people.. lets say there is a 1000 player cap for that zone well, once 1000 players are in, people that zone in will zone in a new layer… why do you have to boot people out? its ridiculous.
The rain sounds make me want run into an inn and have some mead in front of the fire
Im less decided then when it started lol… i was going hunter. But then I saw countless hunters, and struggled to get groups. For that reason I am thinking of warlock, cause it provides a bit more utility. Or shaman, cause I can dual spec resto elemental and try to keep up on healing/spell
They should block all addons, addons ruin the classic feeling of the game
Still have no idea what I am going to main…😅. Might just have to roll a dice.
While I were listening to the video, I've got a feeling that there should be a XP multiplier. If you want slower pace, then set it to a 0.5x times normal. If you don't care, have less time and does not want the game to feel like a chore or anorher job, leave it at x1. Imho vanilla leveling speed was slow enough for me to reconsider rolling an alt 5 times before ever trying. Sure, those who want to play at 0.5x would get a cosmethic reward or something.
Upright undead!
We calling forever, Retail wow now? 😀
i hope they optimize the game as much as they can on release, my laptop can handle retail, yet in forever i got all to a minimum on beta and i have only 8-10 fps, i won't be able to enjoy the weather. IF they can't optimize enough, does anyone know if the option to completely turn off the new lighting/weather and fog will be available? i'd be happy to play in 20 fps, that's plenty for me.
Beta was extended to 10am server time Oct 23rd
Shadow Priest. Probably doing every quest in zone. Focusing on professions as i go. I looove fishing. Excited to see new items
Since this will be my first time playing classic in WoW, ima gonna just do quests and explore the areas that are new to me and the new ones for all of us! Tryna balance the leveling and exploration should be a fun task! 😂
Night Elf Druid for sure. Played a Paladin in Vanilla which also looks appealing, but druid playstyles for me just suit me perfectly and I love the theme of night elf druids.
If they add the following, I’m out.
Catch up
Bad luck protection (I.E quick token(s) to get a item from raid)
Wow token
Layering will be the death of this game if they do not get it fixed
I was in STV passing through and there was heavy rain, it just felt… right. For a jungle
ingame storm was amazing!!!
If you want archaeology go play Retail.
Compromise on the limited vendor recipes: unlimited stock for 15 minutes on a random restock timer (with some non crazy maximum).
Keeps the fun/flavor solves the pain points.
this is the worst wow content on youtube
Heavy rain unfortunately went from my favorite weather effect to my least with this update, I've had issues with bright flashes since my accident (tmi) and without a slider or option to turn off the lightning flashes I'll have to turn off all weather effects :/
Edit: I am not saying it shouldn't be added just to be clear, I only wish blizzard was more preemptive with stuff like this 😀
My main is locked in at Druid, with my alts being Rogue, Warlock, and Priest…in no order.
My Main's been Locked in for 20 years. Can't wait to play again for the first time in nearly a decade.
One of the simplest ways to keep content mildly relevant is attunements.. for every character, not account-wide.
Horizontally progressing your character at level 60, requiring you to do Molten Core attunement, Onyxia, BWL..
Think of the attunements for Burning Crusade. It kept people needing to run heroics, Karazhan, Gruul and Magtheridon, then SSC/TK for the vials…
Once they took that away, now the raids become dead. Once they made it account wide.. dead.
Players could just get a new toon carried at the highest current raid tier, stacked with loot and almost immediately caught up if not better than most player’s main characters.
I know they weren’t everyone’s favorites, but if the developers really want to keep content relevant, and have players progress through it, then that is a pretty simple way to promote every tier, phase, or content update they give us now.
