Elon did not have bad opsec. He wasn't in a operation. He has terrible security posture, sure. People love the spook terms until someone demands they use them properly.
It was such a waste to cancel the order and tell musky about it, if you can cancel the order without him noticing, just cancel it then send a different package containing *something else*. Elon (or his "security team") will be expecting a lego set instead of whatever you put in the box, but they won't know until it is too late.

Elon Musk is a tragedy. Has horrific autism. Severely narcissistic father. Been searching for vaildation his whole life. Inhabited the persona of a genius. His complete self abandonment and inability to identify his personal human needs is the only thing that allowed him to work long and hard enough to build the impossible companies he has. But cognitively he is not all there. Feel sorry for him. Regardless, none of his takes should be taken seriously. His mind flip flops like a child on every issue.
He also replied to the person who cancelled his order and the person responded with ragebait and absolutely ratioed him. Elon botted his reply but since then he’s gotten ratioed even worse
