This is exactly what i want, i play osrs and tried rs3 way back in the day but i didnt care for it, maybe now i can enjoy it

Tempting but I'm max almost comp, I'll likely not try this out.. I get it there's some content creators and os players that probably cried about this and criticized the rs3 community about being pay to win for not trying it but this is not it. I feel the only thing to come from this is the rs3 player base will be stretched thinner and players like me will be even less tempted to come back until rs4

I really like this idea honestly, why should I have to suffer for Jagex's and yours' past mistakes? Why should I have to play on a server with such a ridiculously over inflated economy? Especially when that economy is over inflated because you 'veterans' couldn't stop buying treasure hunter keys every single time a phoenix lamp event dropped. You devalued your own accounts and destroyed your own economy. Live with it, no one is forcing you to play Reignited.
The game has been bad for years. No new players have wanted to play due to treasure keys etc. a fresh start on a new world sounds incredible. Thank you Jagex

I just started a new account 2 months ago and have put in crazy hours in that time. Zero chance I'm starting over and I'm a bit pissed. If I had 24 years in I'd be fuming.
Does that include the mobile version?
This is a great idea, it's the only way I would play rs3 again, that being said unless we can play multiple characters at once, it would never take over for osrs play time.

Alternative perspective: as someone who played RS3 casually after the EOC casually, got a few 99s (with the assistance of scripts) and also got my account hacked and bank lost, this makes me actually want to play RuneScape again .
We pay, we say.
What hurts the most is that many people don't play RS3 anymore but RS3 is still the ORIGINAL servers and profiles from when the game CAME OUT. So many accounts and veterans who have been there since the game wasn't even 3D yet, all of that history and everything just gone?…..
Seems like another old mmo gets a refresh after WoW. It's mobile so I may hop in and try.
Can I play on console? Thats practically how I play everything now. Dont have time for PC much anymore
