  1. Love that Lance gets beat almost exclusively by Thunderbolt as a Champion. Bro is a disgrace to Dragon Trainers everywhere and is actually a Flying type master he's got the masses fooled.

  2. So I went back and rewatched your other door rando because I was worried you had instant catch on there too but upon rewatching I remembered you actually struggled against zapdos and decided to be more reasonable going for a catchable mon. Sad to see you took that struggle and went the quick and easy way by having 100% catchrate and immediately catching a legendary instead of keeping it challenging. Hope to not see that in the future because I love your vids

  3. What would this run look like if there was a no legendaries rule in effect? Which mons would be the ones you're seeking? Just level them via the trainers scattered all over the three games?

  4. Fellow nerd here. Your graph theory overview was really great. I wanted to add that if you were to write a search algorithm for finding boss battles in the door randomizer mod, you only need to keep track of the locations you have seen to avoid exploring the same node multiple times. However, if we wanted to find the fastest way to beat the game, we would need to implement a shortest path algorithm, you would need to implement cycle detection. Otherwise, the shortest path algorithm will search the same nodes infinitely and never finish running its evaluation. Cycle detection is a really cool topic that I encourage people to look into if they find it interesting!

  5. A visible expanding graph of the actual layout would actually kill in one of these videos.. Thinking like the graph mode in obsidian or something.

  6. "How I used math" –> "How I decided to first look at all the places a hub area leads me before continuing down a path and also take notes on my progress. However, I know what you call this pretty normal approach scientifically."

  7. Amazing video! I’ve loved all of the randomizer ones so far – ngl was a little disappointed we didn’t see those last few doors but it was a blast either way

  8. I know you’re slowly making your way through the regions, but it’d be really interesting to see if Champion Geeta is truly a fraud like everyone says. Also very entertaining videos!

  9. Hey man just want to shout you out and say I fucking love your videos. I’m doing my PhD in marine ecology and do a lot of coding and environmental modelling, so binge watching a pokemon video with a sprinkle of math both satiates my pokemon needs and teaches me stuff so I feel less guilty for watching an hour long pokemon video during the week🤣🫶

  10. Pretty anti-climatic with every ball being a master ball and just using an over levelled legendary to sweep through the fights without any real progression or strategy.

  11. I feel like Mewtwo is definitely factually worse than Groudon and Kyogre in gen 3 but I suppose in casual the only stats that matter are speed and the attacking stat and it’s not like you can take advantage of weather synergies with an unfocused team
