21:35 totally realistic to have a pond on a mountain. Check out the lake on top of the Salmo-Creston pass on highway three in Canada. It’s a small lake at the peak of a mountain a few thousand feet above sea level
Speak for yourself, I love driving my Blazer Aqua so I regularly travel through these rivers. I love the rapids and the fact that you can drive up most waterfalls.

You need to do more rally driving! The river you were crossing at the start has one of my favorite rally roads in the game on it that runs along side so I knew exactly where you were when you stopped on the bridge 🤣 Oddly, you get to the river (on the left side of the bridge) by driving off a turning on the right side of the bridge (at the back of a carpark I think, It's been a while since I played) and looping down under the bridge so from the bridge you can see the road but no easy way to get down there.
Doesn't sound like you had fun making this. That tracks because I didn't have fun watching it.

and if you want to go even deeper, you can do some deep watershed ecology and map out every single little crevice that would actually feed the level 1 streams. but that would be a lot. lol

9:15 i think the sound is from a distant plane not the highway, you can also hear that noise practically everywhere (I think) but it’s definitely from a plane, but it would’ve been a cool note nonetheless

@21:32 loong time ago i made a jet sky race starting from that lake, coming down the little water stream down the mountain, and a mega jump into the sea! It was crazy, but unfortunately almost no one ever joined it 😅

massive educational fail, and something of a "have you never been to the west?" going on here. we have a lot of dry creeks in the west…you cant model the west without including them… // most lakes are fed by springs, water table, and rain: and send water out to the ocean.. of course they include some outbound rivers- but they are never fed from the ocean… point being /seeing all of this is fascinating but the Alamo sea doesn't need obvious inflow to be realistic, it seems like you dont have a good grip on how this environment functions// now all of that said if you want to ask about weirdness is how about how often it rains in Los Santos – a clearly western, DRY city would not rain this often !! is it frikking winter?? are they stuck in the winter of 1997? it doesnt even rain this often in the rainy season, and if it did, the whole environment would be very different… it's comical how weird that is vs reality when they model everything else so accurately
i wear scoober gear and swam most rivers and lake, had to get in the under water crashed airplane as i was being hunted by a ghost modder spawning behind me. His sub couldnt get me and well i can just stay under water as i always ware my suit
